blue and red and red and blue and parking tickets and packaged food and too sweet and stale water and old car and bad traffic and my little brother and rap and my mom and yelling and bio test and pens out of ink and sunny day and weird light and little kids and sarah palin and domino's pizza and indian men and i don't understand and peace corps corrupt and i don't understand and not good enough and not smart enough and bio test tomorrow and what to do and selfish kids and rich kids and for us not them and nothing to do and so much to do and blue and blue and red and blue

dark soil

john and fall and cold and brittle leaves and after a rain and dark soil and gravel and walking home and pine needles and dead trees and overcast afternoons and gray and gray and gray and raw umber and burnt sienna and white and blue and black and a painting i hate and barefoot and prickers in my feet and a fisherman sweater and still cold and fertile soil and no life
